Skip brings a unique taste of Melbourne to Sydney, with the ST. ALi Family joining local favourites Indigo and Bangbang Cafe.
Sensis online ordering and payment app for cafés and bars, Skip, is bringing together a selection of its hottest foodie venues to serve up their signature menu items to guests at the Sensis trackside chalet on Championships Day 2, Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day, this weekend.
In a first, Skip is also bringing a unique Victorian flavour to the Sydney event, having enlisted support from the ST. ALi Family; Melbourne’s specialty coffee conglomerate. ST. ALi is just one of a growing network of over 300 cafés, restaurants and bars that offer Skip’s queue jumping and cashless payment app for their customers.
ST. ALi General Manager, Lachlan Ward, and NSW Manager, Emily Oak, from ST ALi will be bringing Sydney-siders a taste of their sensational cronuts. They will be joined by Anthony Moustacas and Christian Verges from Indigo café in Double Bay, who will be keeping guests caffeinated with their highly regarded coffee. Finally, Matt Maddrell from Bangbang Cafe in Surry Hills will be doing what he does best for the guests – his burgers with that special sauce.
Skip General Manager, Bill Bizos, said, “I’m excited to be working with this great group of Skip ambassadors at one of Sydney’s most fun experiences to showcase some of the great cafés already part of the growing Skip family. We’re particularly delighted to have the ST. ALi Family flying up from Melbourne to join us for the day.
“From cronuts to coffee, burgers to cocktails, Skip offers our customers the best cashless food ordering experience with the added benefit of never having to queue up again!”
The Sensis chalet will be hosting 200 of Sydney’s A-list personalities from the worlds of music, fashion, tech innovation, food and business. As well as premium food and drink, guests will watch the Sensis Sapphire Stakes Group 2 race from the chalet, located in prime position near the winning post.
Sony Music recording artist, Dami Im, and actor and DJ, Alex Dimitriades, will also both be performing for guests exclusively in the marquee.
The trackside venue is the focal point of the new sponsorship relationship between Australia’s leading marketing services provider, Sensis, and the Australian Turf Club.
